Did you know www.perfectsuits.co.uk arguably sell the best men’s white suits in the world, under their own label Marco Carlotti. How can www.perfectsuits.co.uk make such a claim that they sell the finest men’s white suits in the world? It is a proud statement and is backed up by customer demand and feedback over the past few years. Why are the suits so superior to our competitors, is it the cut, the cloth, the styling, the value or the service you get from www.perfectsuits.co.uk. The cloth is one of the best on the market and is 97% woven cotton, with 3% elastine to prevent unsightly creases in the fabric, it is a lightweight material, but has a feel of quality and substance, both jacket and trousers are lined which gives the suit its fine Italian styling. Marco Carlotti Italian name cut styling and fashion go together hand in hand, and the suit has been designed so that no attention to detail has been overlooked. Value is what John Ansell of www.perfectsuits.co.uk believes that there is not another suit of this kind on the market at the current price. Customers are sometimes sceptical how we can deliver our product at such great value, its simple we order large quantities of stock as it’s our main selling line, and only work on line, hence economy of scale value to customer. John is also aware how important service to the customer is, at www.perfectsuits.co.uk it is not only important it is paramount, from the time your order is placed, to the time it is packed and dispatched, goods normally arrive within two to three working days. www.perfectsuits.co.uk also has a no quibble returns policy, if the suit is not exactly what you require, you may return it either for a size change or full refund, as our returned goods are so low in volume it is another reason why our suits are the best in the business. It is a fact that www.perfectsuits.co.uk has arguably the largest range of stock and sizes that it is possible to hold at any one time, also as a worldwide business it is never seasonal so we are able to offer the complete range to our customers in any given period. www.perfectsuits.co.uk also offers a walk in service at their warehouse, that is conveniently positioned in West London just off the M4, South Circular road by the famous Kew Bridge, and gardens, location, location, location. Summarising if www.perfectsuits.co.uk was a football team they would be in the Champions League and challenging to win as the best team in the world. This year’s Open Golf Championship was held at Royal St Georges Sandwich in Kent. Royal St Georges Golf Club was initially designed by Dr Laidlaw in 1887, its original design and use was for London golfers who generally played in overcrowded and unmanaged courses to come and relax and enjoy their round of Golf, on the pleasant links by the sea. The Royal status was given to St Georges by King Edward V11 in 1902. Over the years the cruel links conditions have tamed the world’s greatest golfers including Tiger Woods who in 2003 could only finish joint fourth. Only four players have ever won the open here under par for 72 holes, Bill Rogers, Greg Norman, Ben Curtis, and this year’s winner Darren Clarke. All those interested in Golf will remember the emotional scenes when the Europeans won the Ryder cup, a team that included Darren Clarke who had just lost his wife to cancer. So it was even more poignant this year when Darren raised the claret cup. Darren won the 140th Open Golf championship from Americans Phil Mickleson, and Dustin Johnson, he was five under for his four rounds and it was his first major Championship, and only four players finished under par for the four rounds. The weather was awful for most of the week but the sun shone down on the Friday and the golfers put on their finest tops and white trousers. White trousers were worn by half the field including, Simon Dyson, Mickleson, Stenson, Oosthuizen, Schartzel, Ishikawa, the young American sensation Ricky Fowler, and of course the UKs Rory Mcllroy. Rory Mcllroy is fast becoming a fashion icon on the Golfing stage, teen prodigy, he turned professional in 2007, and played in his first European tour event as a sixteen year old and scored a hole in one at The Forest of Arden. He won the amateur Silver medal at the Open Championship at Carnoustie, his first victory came in the Dubai Desert Classic, where he beat Justin Rose by one shot. His finest moment to date came in June 2011 when he won his first major, the US Open at Congressional Country Club in Maryland, USA. Rory won by eight shots and finished on sixteen shots under par. It is no coincidence that Rory, and Darren are managed by the colourful ChubbyChandler, it is rumoured that Darren did not go to bed until the following day after the Open due to extended celebrations. Today’s Golfers are very fashion conscious and players like the young American Ricky Fowler, wear the most amazing colours very bright orange, yellow, green, normally set of with a pair of white trousers. For today’s Golfers white trousers are the fashion statement on the course, so if your putts won’t drop, your drives find the rough, you can be at least assured that if you have on your white trousers you will be way out in front in the fashion stakes. Breaking news John Ansell of Perfectsuits sees another TV personality interviewed on BBC breakfast TV wearing the new fashion craze a white jacket. White jackets, white trousers never seem to be out of the news or off the TV these days John says that hardly a day goes by without some personality wearing a white suit, jacket, or trousers. Those who are interested in Golf will see most of the Golfers in the British open which this year is being held at Sandwich in Kent, wearing the new in colour white trousers. Sir David Attenborough though must be one of the best known faces on British TV, or arguably in the world as his career has spanned over 50 years. It began in 1952 when he joined BBC Television. In 1954 he launched the first of his famous Zoo Quest series, which over the next ten years took him all over the world. Sir David was also responsible for the introduction of colour TV into Britain in 1965 when he was controller of BBC2. As to why Sir David could be one of the most well-known faces in the world, is that it is estimated that 500 million people worldwide watched the 13 part series Life on Earth Sir David was knighted in 1985, and given the Order of Merit in 2005. He also has another well-known brother, actor and director David Attenborough, who himself has been made Lord. The question at the moment is will Sir David contemplate retirement, Sir David is 85 and shows no signs of easing up which was apparent from his appearance on BBC Breakfast TV this morning, looking relaxed and immaculately dressed in his white jacket. John of Perfectsuits.co.uk says that of the well-known personality’s that have recently been spotted, wearing white suits, jackets, and trousers, it a large cross section of ages, and professions, actors, TV announcers, travel writers, and of course Prince William on the recent Royal Tour. Perfectsuits has arguably the most extensive range, sizes, of white suits, jackets, trousers, waistcoats, in the world, and can be viewed at their showroom/warehouse conveniently situated West London. Or take a look at our web page Perfectsuits@.co.uk, look to try, sure to buy. This morning on BBC breakfast TV Rageh Omaar was interviewed wearing the new fashion statement a white suit jacket. John Ansell of Perfectsuits is completely amazed at the amount of men wearing white, jackets, trousers, and suits, in the public eye. John revealed that since Prince William was seen dressed in smart white trousers on his trip to Canada and the USA, recent sales of his company’s stock has increased tenfold. Rageh Omaar is also a white jacket wearer as seen on the BBC breakfast show promoting his new TV programme. Other well-known TV presenters that are also wear white suits, include John Simpson, Martin Bell, and many other news readers and personality’s. John is not surprised at the demand for their suits jackets and trousers he believes that Perfectsuits have arguably the best quality, and range of sizes of white suits and jackets, trousers, waistcoat’s in the world. Sales at Perfectsuits have soared in the past three years and exports are 25% of all sales, mainly in Europe, Australia, America, and Canada, but sales in Chile, Brazil, and Russia make up the overseas sales. Our white suits have been designed and formulated from customer demand. Perfectsuits began by selling stone white, cream, off white suits, but customers kept telling us they wanted a brighter white. Perfectsuits had a cloth made that satisfied demand, that has seen sales increase over 100% in the past two years. John has been asked many times in the past who buys these suits, jackets, and trousers, he no longer has to say they are for weddings, cruises, holidays, leisure activities, they are worn by, Film Stars, Famous Sports Stars, Actors, in TV Commercials, News readers, and of course as we have recently seen Royalty, with Prince William on his tour of Canada and America. The list is endless white is the new fashion statement for young and old, John suggests that you look at the Perfectsuit.co.uk web site, or if you have the time call in to our West London showroom/warehouse and view arguably the finest range and sizes of white suits, jackets, trousers, waistcoats in the world. Prince William the heir to the British throne looks great in white trousers at polo match in Santa Barbara California. Who has not seen the great pictures of the Prince at the polo match, with his equally stunning new wife Kate Middleton now the Duchess of Cambridge, on their trip to Canada and the USA even the most anti royalist would have to admit they make a great looking couple. The Prince has a battle on his hands to keep up with the Duchess on the fashion stakes but John Ansell of Perfectsuits thought that the Prince had really pulled it off with his mix and match outfit of blue jacket, white shirt, white trousers and brown loafers, John also thought that the white hankie in the upper pocket showed of mix and match to perfection. Johns company specialises in the sales of white suits and has recently experienced a 50% increase in sales of separate white jackets, and trousers, although complete suits are still selling well. For the Prince to wear such immaculate attire to such a high profile event speaks volumes for the way the modern man has embraced white as a popular colour. In the past white may have been seen only as a colour to be worn as a shirt, and most men have no qualms about going to the office, every day with white shirt and tie, why has it taken men so long to wake up to white as the new fashion item for their wardrobe? John thinks that certain men may not feel comfortable in a solid white suit, and that may be true, but more and more men are wearing white suits to their weddings, and doing as the Prince does to mix and match jackets and trousers that make them feel more comfortable. Again though his father the Prince of Wales and future King is often to be seen in a white suit. The mixing and matching of white jacket and trousers can be a great addition to a man’s every day wear for work or leisure. Match the jacket as the Prince has done dark jacket white trousers, colourful shirt, pastel colours, pink, yellow, go really well together. Black or brown loafers and some highly coloured socks brilliant match. In Johns opinion the best match, is a white jacket, blue jeans or dark trousers, black shirt, or dark tee shirt, loafers, and if it’s hot no socks, and you will look and feel a million dollars. Look to buy, look to try, Perfectsuits.co.uk has the most extensive range and sizes of white jackets, trousers, arguably in the world, take the plunge look today you will not be disappointed. John Ansell of Perfectsuits raises the traditional old chestnut to hire or buy a white wedding suit? This is the big day you want to look your best, and you want to get married in a clean crisp white suit, what’s our first inclination in this day and age, John suspects its go to the local hire shop. Now if you are looking for a brilliant white suit the chances are the hire shop will not have one, they normally only stock three quarter length jackets, and trousers that are either, cream, off white, olive, but never brilliant white. With this in mind you have wasted a trip, and the price to hire will be in the range £120-00-£150 for something you do not like, it’s the wrong colour, it will not be yours and you will have to take it back. Upsides to ordering from the hire shop, they will alter the suit to fit you as best they can, and maybe allow you to keep it for a week or two. Downsides the suit may have been worn before, and this is your wedding day, do you want a suit that has been worn by someone else? to where, for what, the thought is enough to make anyone think twice. To hire you will have to struggle to get to the shop, park the car, or public transport, change in a stuffy changing room with a lot of other, wedding would be’s, when you could be doing anything but that. How to not have to go through all the above? Go to Perfectsuits.co.uk, and choose your suit from the comfort of your arm chair. Benefits of buying your suit and not hiring. Firstly you will get the colour and cut of suit you want, the web pages of Perfectsuits explain in full detail all you will need to know and understand how to purchase your wedding suit. Worried it may not fit if your purchase is the wrong size Perfectsuits wiil refund 100% your purchase, or try to exchange for a size that’s fits you. Quality our white wedding suits are 97% pure cotton, fully lined, and cut in a modern style, which you can view on the web page. Upsides to buy or hire, if you buy it will be a brand new suit unworn and fresh for your wedding day. It will be delivered to your door by the postman, normally three days from order, no traveling, no parking, no hassle. Other benefits include you will have a suit, jacket and trousers, can be worn separately as a mix and match item, when you have used it for the wedding, and you will get more use out of yours than the bride! The major benefit though is the price £88.99, for a brand new 97% pure cotton, fully lined wedding suit. Why £88.99 because they are internet prices, why are High Street shops prices so high? They have enormous overheads staff, rent , rates they almost have no choice but to charge high prices. It would appear that there is no competition between hiring and buying,” to hire or not to hire the bard would have said”” not to hire is the answer “ go to Perfectsuits.co.uk for the Perfect wedding suit. John Ansell of Perfectsuits is a great horse racing fan and with Royal Ascot on at the moment John would like to share some information on Jockeys and silks. Jockeys wear a uniform which are called silks and they are the registered colours of the owner, or the trainer who employs them. The origin of colours can be traced back to medieval times, when jousts were held between knights, colours today are a very important part of the racing scene, if there were no colours it would not be able to pick your horse out in running. The colours are all individual to the owner and trainer, and are governed by Weatherbys who are the sole arbitrator, of colours and names. You may not have the exact same colours as anybody else, but you can mix up base colours with different sleeves, body, hat, hoops, stripes, spots, stars, but the trousers are always white, it can be quite fun designing your own. If an existing set of colours come up for sale they can fetch £50,000 or more, racing is a very expensive business. Silks were always made of silk, but today most are made of synthetic material, for jump jockeys who normally race in the winter months, same silks but they wear tights underneath to keep warm. In the past it was normal for a jockey to be someone on the short side and very light, and if the horse had to carry more weight than the jockeys, the saddle was filled with lead weights to make up the racing weight. Today’s jockeys though are much taller and they make up the racing weight, with very little lead going in the saddle. This does have side effects though because the jockeys are so tall it is harder for them to keep their weight down, and they may have to spend time in the steam room, and take various form of treatments to help with their weight. Eating disorders are very common among jockeys, and some of us may remember the novel and film Seabiscuit, it dealt with the problems they have, and sometimes their decent in alcoholism. Fred Archer one of the most famous jockeys of the 19th century actually committed suicide because of his weight and drinking problems. A jockey normally gets paid £175.00 per ride, which out of that he has to pay his own travel expenses, and he may go up and down the country for one ride only. The best jockeys normally work for one trainer, and they are on a retainer, and jockeys also get 10% of any winnings, which unless it’s a big race is not a lot, prize money in the UK is some of the worse in the world. Jockey careers are not that long at the top, although they start off young it is usually as an apprentice, with very little pay, and their hours are long and arduous, and they need to have 50 winners before they lose the apprentice tag, and can go on to better things. Top current day jockeys such as Frankie Dettori, Tony McCoy, have become in some cases multi-millionaires, and are household names, and who of us inside the racing game can forget Frankie’s signature flying dismount when he has ridden a winner. Frankie is probably the best known flat jockey riding at the present time, he has become in racing terms the housewife’s favourite and rides for a multi-million pound racing organisation called Godolphin, they have famous racing colours of blue and white. Housewife’s choice means that Frankie and Tony McCoy draw all the small bets on the big televised races and have the bookmakers quaking if they win. John says that next time we go to the races, and get caught up in the glamour of the day, the jockeys, the horses, the noise and bustle, of the atmosphere, when we are tucking in to our, fish chips, hamburgers and pints, give a little thought to the jocks, who have had to give up food for the day to keep us entertained. John Ansell of Perfectsuits is surprised how many Golfers are wearing white trousers in competitions, and how great they all look. White Polo shirts have been the choice of many players over the past few years, but tops are becoming more colourful, and the trousers of choice have become almost universally white. Why is white is worn? maybe because of the material reflecting the sun, as opposed to black that attracts heat. What is certain though is that players, all over the world including, Luke Donald the world’s number one, Ian Poulter, who is the most fashionable player on the tour, who has his own fashion label. Northern Irelands, Rory Mclloroy, the new kid on the block, Lee Westwood, most of the Americans Tiger, Mickelson, all of them are wearing white trousers. Golf another game that you either love or hate, in theory it’s a very simple game small ball, long club all you have to do is hit it. Theory and Golf do not go hand in hand there is no logic why you cannot one hit the ball every time, two hit it in the direction you want, the length you want, the height, and pace. Most Golfers who I am one have all the gear, but in Golfers parlance “no idea”. I have all the books, the tapes, the best clubs you can buy,all the top of the range clothes, shoes, have had all the lessons, but still no “idea”. All Golfers will tell you that at one stage on any day they think they can play, and then for a few holes “they are the man” but all of a sudden you game goes and you are plunged into the depths of despair. What despair you have just paid a small fortune for a new driver, a jacket that breathes, that cost an arm and a leg, and a putter that cannot miss, and what have you got, a collection of the best Golf gear money can buy, and what have you got still no “idea”. When you think it’s all over and you are in the safety of the bar, your so called mates take the next couple of hours taking the” perverbial” mickey out of you making you feel even worse as you hand over your gambling dues, it’s just a perverted pleasure men get to rub salt in the wounds. So why do we do it?Is it because it gets us out in the fresh air? Exercise? chat with your mates, or to imagine that we are Tiger, Luke Donald, Mickleson, striding up the 18th at St Andrews, or the last at the US Open at Augusta, walking onto the green, milking the applause, standing over our 2ft putt to win the championship, putting in the putt and raising our arms to the heavens. I believe it’s the latter, we are dressed in our cool white, our young blonde wife rushes over to congratulate us, with the two great looking kids, there are white fluffy clouds, the crowd is in raptures, and the world is as one, we would all love that scenario but in the end we just have a dream and still no “idea”. To order white trousers for your next golf game – click here Whites as they are called are worn in all Test matches all over the world, and consist of white shirt, jumper, and white trousers. Cricket you either love it or hate it, the Americans think the game is unreal, and it’s hard to explain to anyone that it lasts for five days and can still be a draw, I am sure if Martians came to earth it would be very difficult to explain to them why we watch and what the rules are. Cricket can be traced back to Tudor times in early 16th- century England, written evidence exists that a game known as creag was played by Prince Edward, the son of Edward 1, and this has been suggested that it was a form of early cricket. The most famous cricket ground in the world is Lords in north London which is the Marylebone Cricket Club and was founded in 1787, at that time it was a game played mainly for the elite, and gambling played a big part, it was not unusual for bets of £20,000 or more to be wagered, Lords took its name from its founder Thomas Lord. In 1787 Thomas Lord staged his first match, and a year later it laid down a Code of Laws, requiring the wickets to be 22 yards apart, and detailing how players could be given out. The laws were adopted throughout the game-and the MCC still remains the custodian and arbiter of the Laws around the world. In the 1870s, the MCC decided it wanted to get involved in county cricket, and invited Middlesex to adopt Lords as its county ground, which continues to the present day. In 1877 a England side boarded a steamer to Australia, and so started the famous rivalry between the” Aussies” and the Poms a nickname given to the English. Calling the team English today is not very factual, the captain and a couple of other players are South African, Irish, Welsh, and other nationalities that can qualify after living in the UK for a period of time. To-day because of the British Empire cricket is the National game of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, played in South Africa, The Caribbean, it is also played in Europe, Canada, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and of course England’s greatest adversaries Australia. The rivalry between the” Aussies” and the Poms has no signs of abating, and every four years the pair play in a five test series home and away, called the Ashes. The Ashes are purported to have originated when a stumped was burnt, the ashes put in a small urn, and the teams have been playing for them ever since. Cricket, Cricket, it is a subject, that if you like it you can talk, dissected, analyse, for hours who was the best bowler, batsman, fielder, captain, you can have a view, on the state of the wicket, to-day, tomorrow, and what it will do in five days. It is a game you can leave, have your lunch, have a nap, and come back in a hour or two and not much will have happened. It is though a game that is full of passion, skill, courage, and today’s players are extremely fit, so it’s a game that you either love or hate but it will not go away, so we have to face it, it’s here to stay. Wimbledon arguably the world’s most famous tennis tournament in the world. Wimbledon is not only the most famous it is also the oldest, it is held at the All England Club in south London since 1877. It is one of the four Grand slams which is equivalent to a open in Golf, the other majors are the Australian, French, And US Opens, and it is the only major to be still played on grass, which gave the name of lawn tennis its name. The tournament takes place over two weeks at the end of June, and is one of the highlights of the social season, and on the culinary scene is famous for strawberries and cream as a special treat at the tennis. Wimbledon enforces a strict dress code for the players, they have to wear all white, whereas all the other majors allow all coloured tops and shorts to be worn. The most well-known court is the centre court were the finals and semi-finals are held. The weather at Wimbledon in the English summer can be something of a lottery, and rain has often interrupted the competition, and in 2009 a retractable roof was installed to combat inclement weather. In the past various forms of entertainment have taken place when rain has stopped play, and one year English pop star Cliff Richard entertained the crowd with a rendition of his songs. In recent years the United Kingdom have not been very successful in the men’s singles final, Fred Perry was the last in 1936, and no British women since Virginia Wade in 1997. The most well-known recent British competitor was Tim Henman and he was the nation’s favourite, he has also had a land mark named after him Henman hill where the spectators watch the tennis on a big screen. Fred Perry was the last Englishman to win the singles title in 1936, and the only player to win the final in straight sets three times. Perry was a very interesting man, he was the son of a labour MP, and he was a world champion at Table Tennis. He also became famous for his range of Fred Perry sports clothes, and one of the last players to win the Wimbledon singles wearing long white trousers. Little may be known of perhaps the greatest British male tennis player of all time, and arguably a candidate for the greatest player of all time. William Charles Renshaw. He won a total of twelve Wimbledon titles, seven in singles a record he shares with Pete Sampras. The first six were consecutive, an achievement which has never been equalled unto this day, although Borg had five successive wins. These wins were achieved in the late 1800’s, and are somewhat overshadowed because in his time the reigning champion had automatic entry to next year’s final. !939 was the last year that it was mandatory to wear long white trousers at Wimbledon, and the winner that year was the American Bobby Riggs. There was a break from Wimbledon for a few years due to the second world war, and the last man in history to be crowned singles champion playing in white trousers was Frenchman Yvan Petra,in 1946. Dress code and Wimbledon are as synonymous as strawberries and cream and it is not much a flight of fancy, to close your eyes and imagine the likes of the great Fred Perry, and William Renshaw plying their trade on the green turf of Wimbledon, dressed all in white tops and long white trousers. |
